Workshop on Environmental Performance of Using Wood
January 24, 2007
University of Washington, Seattle
This workshop was created to bring together international work on the environmental performance of using wood versus non-wood building products and the impacts on carbon. The workshop was mainly organized by Bruce Lippke and Lauri Valsta. Bruce Lippke is the President of CORRIM and a professor at the University of Washington and was instrumental in involving those doing research on LCI/LCA with CORRIM. Professor Lauri Valsta is a visiting scholar at the University of Washington from the University of Helsinki, and was essential in coordinating the speakers from Finland, Sweden, and New Zealand. |
Bruce Lippke has given this presentation
at:
-
The Wood Industry Forum, at
the Seattle Convention Center, April 12, 2005
-
The Architectural Institute
of British Columbia’s Annual Conference, at
the BC Institute of Technology, April 29, 2005
-
The American Society for Quality’s
World Conference on Quality and Improvement, at the
Seattle Convention Center, May 18, 2005
